Whichever you choose is ultimately a matter of how much you value specific characteristics. For example, while environmentalists might appreciate the natural, others might find synthetics more budget-friendly and tend to be a little more stain resistant to be the more practical choice.

There are acrylics and blends, but the five most common are wool a natural. There are also synthetics, including nylon, polyester, olefin (polypropylene), and triexta. Do a little research, so you're familiar with the characteristics of each.
